Cedrom was founded in 2013 by partners coming from investment banks with the objective of working with middle-market companies, advising in the areas of investment analysis, financial structuring and fundraising. As its business grew, operations expanded to the segments of company reorganization, debt restructuring, and real estate.

Financial Structuring and Fundraising

Cedrom advises clients when financial sophistication is needed for debt restructuring, securitization and capitalization (equity). For more complex cases, Cedrom seeks a combination of various fundraising methods, always identifying the most effective path for its clients to obtain capital.

A detailed analysis of the capital structure and financial strength is carried out by professionals who have extensive experience in the area serving mid-size companies and who maintain partnerships with financial institutions and investment firms. These are the differentials which guarantee successful transactions.

  • Structuring of BTS (Built to Suit) and SLB (Sale and Lease Back) real estate transactions in which the client is able to maximize financial gains and improve allocation of real estate assets, liquidity and tax efficiency.
  • Prospecting of commercial and industrial real property and land throughout Brazil, through a broad range of partnerships.
  • Real estate asset valuation and advising on profitability, transparency, tax efficiency, and succession planning.

Investment Analysis, Company Valuation, Mergers and Acquisitions

Cedrom evaluates investments, including by identifying the best method for financing them, return on invested capital, and their strategic importance for companies, taking into consideration not only financial but also strategic factors. Our objective is to demonstrate, through various lenses, the effects of an investment on the structure of a company.

We advise our clients throughout all phases of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), from the preparation of valuation reports to the strategic planning of the transaction, preparation of books and information, definition of buyers/ideal targets, search for investors, negotiation process as a whole and finally, the closing of transaction. We operate as both sell-side and buy-side advisers, always from a standpoint of understanding the wishes and urgent needs of our clients. We align our interests to those of our clients.

Eduardo Cortez

Master’s degree in finance from the London Business School (UK) and graduate degree in economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil). Worked for over 10 years in financial and capital markets, having held positions as head of research in Brazilian and other international institutions.

Authorized by the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) to operate as a portfolio manager and approved by the Regional Council of Business Administration as a court-appointed expert.

Juliana Assolari

Graduate degree in economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil) and law degree from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (Brazil). Worked for over 15 years in corporate consulting, primarily in the areas of crisis management, corporate and tax restructuring, and succession planning.

Languages: English and Portuguese



Yeon Ho Woo

Graduate degree in finance from the University of California, Berkeley and degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil). Worked for over 10 years in financial and capital markets, having held positions in Brazilian institutions and in a foreign state bank.

Languages: English, Korean and Portuguese.
